New and Changed Features
Configurable Item in Catalog
Now QAD CSS can be integrated with QAD Configuratorto create B2B orders for configurable products. When selecting a configurable item from the catalog, you configure the item before adding it to the shopping cart.
Product Configuration in Shopping Cart
When an item in the shopping cart is a configurable item defined with QAD Configurator, there is a Reload Configuration icon in the Action column.So you can still configure the item before you check out. You can always click View Configuration Details on the Shopping Cart page to see your configuration.
Configuration Details in Order Reports
For configurable items defined with QAD Configurator, you can use the field Include Configuration Details to determine whether to include configuration details in order reports. Even if the field is not selected, there is a hyperlink to let you view configuration details in an order report.
New System Registry Settings
A system registry setting ConfiguratorWSURL, which provides the Configurator WebSpeed URL, is added.
A system registry setting ShowSTDEXTConfTabs is added to determine whether the Standard Configurations and Existing Configurations tabs are displayed in the configuration questionnaire.
