    New Features
    QAD ICT 4.0 extends customization functionality in several areas. See the User Guide for detailed information on the new features.
    Managing by Domains
    Users can manage their customizations differently in each domain. For specified domains, some customizations can be switched off.
    Extended Functionality of Managing by Groups
    The release includes additional features to help you manage customizations by user groups. As in previous versions of ICT, groups can be listed and separated by commas,. However, you can now deny access to customizations for some groups using an exclamation point (!), or define the sequence of execution of some customizations.
    Extended Task Management Functionality
    Users can now manage their tasks more easily and efficiently. All entries are linked with selected tasks, as in previous versions. Now, the procedures generated during the task are also linked. The built-in files editor lets you modify the files more easily and compile them automatically to valid directories. Additionally, all files are automatically moved to the central environment while closing the task. Another new feature is the ability to switch on or off all at once the customizations related to the selected task.
    Maintenance Programs Generator
    Users can now generate their own maintenance programs without writing Progress code. They can choose a table, and QAD ICT automatically generates a template for the maintenance program. Then users can add fields using Frame & Fields Properties Maintenance, and the new maintenance program is ready.
