QDoc Authentication
When QXI receives a QDoc, it performs a series of authentication checks before processing the QDoc using the following rules:
If Require Authentication is set to true for the receiver, authentication credentials (Session ID or username/password) must be provided in the QDoc.
The Session ID is checked prior to username/password. If the Session ID is valid, QXI will reuse the session to process the QDoc.
The Shutdown Session flag is checked at the end of QDoc processing. By default, it is false. If it is set to true, QXI shuts down the session at the end of QDoc processing.
Username/password in the connection pool is used only when Require Authentication is false and no username/password or valid session ID is provided in the QDoc.
These rules apply to all types of APIs (UIAPI, SIAPI, and FinAPI).
The following diagram illustrates the QDoc authentication process.
