QAD Enterprise Asset Management

QAD Enterprise Asset Management (QAD EAM) is an integrated plant operation solution that enables companies to operate plants more smoothly by keeping equipment running at the lowest cost. The suite is comprised of three core modules: Project Controls Management, Plant Maintenance, and MRO Inventory and Purchasing. As a component of QAD Enterprise Applications, QAD EAM is the only Enterprise Asset Management solution that is fully integrated into QAD’s Manufacturing and Enterprise Financials modules.

QAD Enterprise Asset Management includes these core modules:

• Project Controls Management — Project Controls Management plans, tracks and controls detailed project budget and spending data for capital or expense projects, providing project engineers up-to-the-minute information. Summary and detailed spending information is displayed at the project or can be broken down to sub-components of the project called “Jobs.”
• Plant Maintenance — Plant Maintenance drives work order functionality for maintenance and repair operations. This encompasses all Preventive/Predictive Maintenance, as well as planned and unplanned work necessary to keep equipment reliable so plants can operate at optimum capacity.
• MRO Inventory and Purchasing — Effective management of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) parts is a vital concern for asset-intensive organizations. MRO Inventory and Purchasing allows such businesses to achieve the ideal balance between having the right inventory on hand and minimizing inventory investment.
