That\u2019s a lot of years of change and progress, and I feel fortunate that my customers rely on <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qadconosur.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IT Conosur<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to help them at every stage of their production process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Margins are incredibly low in winemaking, and <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qad.com\/blog\/2021\/10\/wine-ing-about-todays-fb-challenges-and-opportunities\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the challenges are many and mighty<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. With new competitors popping up at a higher rate than ever, it\u2019s crucial for customers to find an edge. That\u2019s where QAD comes in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because of my history and expertise, I was honored to help develop the <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qad.com\/documents\/brochures\/winemaking.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winemakers and Agricultural Module<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qad.com\/industries\/food-beverage\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">QAD Food &amp; Beverage ERP<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, making sure it includes everything my customers want and need to be successful \u2014 and that\u2019s a long and ever-expanding list.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winemakers Have Unique Needs and Challenges<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our support of IT Conosur customers does not stop at ERP implementation. We\u2019ve got their back as they continue their journey, making sure their use of QAD is as efficient and effective as possible, especially when new features and versions launch. We want them to be happy with their decision.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These customers have unique challenges that QAD\u2019s adaptive solutions are designed to address. Take winemakers, for example. Specific winemaking challenges \u2014 and QAD\u2019s answers to those challenges \u2014 include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Cost control and transaction tracking:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> QAD keeps track of every single step from grape to glass \u2014 a process that takes a year or more. Winemakers must keep control of labor, materials and production. Having the right people ready to work at exactly the right moment is crucial for good wine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Weather tracking and prediction:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Forecasting rainy, windy days ahead and comparing that information to historical data helps winemakers plan for labor and puzzle out whether they\u2019ll have a good grape, for example. Having that peek into the future helps my customers schedule labor on the right day, and gives them a jump on buying the best barrels at the best price before the competition snatches them up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Profitability verification:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> No matter how great your wine tastes, the bottom line insists that it\u2019s making money for you.
