Not only did the story\u00a0about how Chinese manufacturers are making a difference in the U.S. auto parts market strike me, but also the amount of QAD customers I recognized. Nothing makes me happier\u00a0than to see the positive impact our auto parts manufacturing customers have on the industry. I love seeing our customers succeed, and as a QAD employee, it makes me especially\u00a0proud. If our customers are succeeding, then we\u2019re doing our job.<\/p>\n<h2>Chinese Auto Parts Manufacturers Making a Difference in the U.S.<\/h2>\n<p>These QAD customers mentioned in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/on.wsj.com\/1Q1wVOR\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this WJS article<\/a> work hard to provide world class service to the OEMs they support. Let me give you a brief introduction to each one and the products they produce in the automotive industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nexteer Automotive<\/strong><br \/>\n<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nexteer.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nexteer Automotive<\/a> has a history that goes back to 1906, and is a global leader in advanced steering and driveline systems with locations all over the globe, including five in China. Their product line includes electric power steering, hydraulic power steering, torque overlay solutions, steering columns, and multiple variations on driveline system shafts and joints. They are truly global, operating in three continents, fourteen plants, and five engineering centers \u2014 four of their plants being in China.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A123 Systems<\/strong><br \/>\n<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.a123systems.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A123 Systems<\/a> develops and manufactures batteries and energy storage systems to the automotive industry. Their game-changing technology delivers a new combination of high power, excellent safety, and long life. They have two locations in China.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ningbo Joyson Electronic Corp.<\/strong><br \/>\nFounded in 2004, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.joyson.cn\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joyson Electronics<\/a> is a leading automotive supplier based in Ningbo, China. They are a global company specializing in climate control, driver controls, sensor systems, and electronic control units.<\/p>\n<h2>Nexteer is Recognized for Manufacturing Leadership<\/h2>\n<p>Additionally, customers like Nexteer are not only getting recognition for their success in the U.S. parts market, but also for their manufacturing leadership.
