UpTime gives its customers the edge by providing capabilities for almost any make and model, custom kitting services and innovative parts return program. UpTime offers a unique single-source option to support truck fleets, from small fleets to large national accounts.

The company’s 115,000-square-foot warehouse is located in West Chicago, Illinois, and is expanding into additional locations across the United States.

UpTime’s Challenge

UpTime was looking to take their business to the next level of operational efficiency and service excellence. Their general manager, Trish Reed, was tasked with identifying high-impact, low-cost priorities. Her team quickly realized that upgrading their outdated enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution was top priority, but with all software upgrades, the real challenge is to minimize cost.

Moving their ERP solution to the cloud offered UpTime a way to flexibly scale their ERP systems and cut business and IT costs while boosting productivity. And best of all, this could be accomplished with a low total cost of ownership (TCO).

How Uptime Moved to their ERP to the Cloud

UpTime was already using QAD’s legacy on-premise QAD ERP solution and decided to move to QAD Cloud ERP Automotive Edition. They came to this decision following the results of a collaborative analysis conducted using a Q-Scan. QAD provided consulting expertise and engaged with UpTime to conduct a review of their existing environment and determined the scope and approach to migrate to the cloud. The implementation set a new record as the fastest upgrade in the history of Navistar — four months from start to finish.

The Benefits of QAD Cloud ERP

With QAD Cloud ERP, UpTime was able to cut costs, improve business processes, and deliver business continuity. Now UpTime has global access to their ERP solution, more than 99.5% availability without using any internal IT resources, and stringently controlled world-class certified data centers holding their information. Read the full story on UpTime’s success with QAD Cloud ERP.

To learn more about QAD Cloud ERP solutions built for manufacturing, visit: www.qad.com/cloud

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]

UpTime gives its customers the edge by providing capabilities for almost any make and model, custom kitting services and an innovative parts return program.
