How could you come to Detroit and not walk away completely enlightened in a place that is so rich in automotive history and manufacturing<\/a>? After all, its nickname is \u201cThe Motor City\u201d And, if that is not enough, we\u2019ll be in the top state in the USA for automotive manufacturing<\/a>, Michigan.<\/span><\/p>\n

In my role at QAD, I have the great honor of working with many of our automotive customers globally. I also get the opportunity to represent their voice in global industry standards and support them as they strive to meet customer requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me take you for a quick spin \u2014 pardon the automotive pun \u2014 and navigate you through some of the automotive sessions at Explore that you won\u2019t want to miss. <\/span><\/p>\n

What Does Explore Have in Store for You This Year?<\/h2>\n

Automotive sessions start Tuesday afternoon with an automotive kickoff session. This is not just any kickoff session, you\u2019ll be hearing from myself and a few of our folks in R&D about the new functionality coming your way specifically for our automotive customers.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, I am super excited to bring you <\/span>Angela Hoon, Executive Director Strategic Risk Management at GM<\/b> as a keynote speaker. She will be discussing the rapid pace of change and how it creates strategic and operational risks in the supply chain.<\/span> In Angela\u2019s role at GM, she makes sure that Mary Barra, GM\u2019s CEO, can sleep well at night!<\/span><\/p>\n
