This goes for both personal and business experiences. Take a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana as an example. You can experience this interesting city in a number of different ways and from a number of different vantage points. For example, you can be the saxophone player at a jazz club, or you can be the jazz club patron. Depending on which you choose, your experience can be quite different! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s use the New Orleans analogy for QAD Explore 2019, May 6-9, as this is where this year\u2019s customer conference will be held. For the last three years, I have experienced Explore from the customer\u2019s vantage point. As an employee of Canon BioMedical, I attended Explore and spoke with many of my peers to understand how QAD was helping them run their business. I attended breakout sessions and learned from customer stories. I also collaborated with subject matter experts and those people who helped develop and shape the various QAD solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, my vantage point has changed. I am now QAD\u2019s industry lead for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qad.com\/industries\/life-sciences\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Life Sciences<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and my Explore experience will be focused on making sure that our customers have information on how the Life Sciences industry is evolving and the tools their businesses need to keep up with change. QAD ERP is helping Life Sciences organizations across the globe, from Pharmaceutical and Biotech to Medical Device, Contract Manufacturing and everything in between. Each of our customers and their experiences are helping to build a community with a focus on making life better for people globally. As the industry lead, I want to help our customers realize the advantages Explore has to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recommended Life Sciences Sessions<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are plenty of great vertical-specific <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qad.com\/about\/eventsagenda\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">breakout sessions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to attend. However, from a Life Sciences standpoint, I recommend checking out these notable presentations:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Life Sciences Vertical Update<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This kickoff session will be focused on the latest trends, and in particular, on the impact of disruptions on the key segments in Life Sciences manufacturing with respect to Anything as a Service (XaaS), Make-to-Order at Scale and Digital Transformation. QAD customer Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma will share their story of how they prepared to meet the latest regulatory and compliance challenges involving serialization and track and trace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>A Case for Quality<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You know quality; we know Enterprise Quality Management solutions. This presentation will show the tangible impact from the implementation of an Enterprise Quality Management System on manufacturing margins and reducing the cost of quality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>eQMS Case Study: Transformation from Manual to eQMS<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This session will provide a case study of the transformation and journey from a manual, paper-based quality system to an automated Enterprise Quality Management System.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Value of APQP<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn about the inherent benefits of implementing Advanced Production Quality Planning.
