Dependence of Initial Database Size on BI Modules
BI v3.6+ is fully “modularized,” with three primary modules:
• Financials
• Order Management
• Operations
Sizing for the resultant BI Data Warehouse depends on many factors, especially the table size within the source ERP database. As different BI modules use only restricted source ERP tables, the final size of the BI Data Warehouse sensitively depends on the modules and submodules used. This section describes how to create an estimate of the initial BI DW size based on the BI modules used.
