A key concept supported by our evolving BI solution is referred to as closed-loop decision making. In the closed loop decision making process, one begins by identifying a key business measurement. The data is gathered from one, or a variety of sources and then analyzed. Collaboration provides insights outside of one’s usual experiences and helps lead to better analysis. Following the collaborative process, a variety of simulations can be conducted to determine the impact of proposed changes. An appropriate change can be implemented which may impact the initial key measurement and the cycle restarts.

QAD’s BI solution roadmap is focused on supporting the closed-loop process.

Modeling requires the importing of forecast information for extension of analytical data. This is planned for a future BI release.
