A fact table will include many thousands (or perhaps millions) or rows.

In order to access the fact tables we will use dimensions. Remember, Dimensions are qualifiers of facts.

Each fact table will be linked to multiple dimension tables. Also, a single dimension table may be linked to multiple fact tables.
