Printable diagram editing
The printable diagram can be edited, saved and restored. When a printable diagram is displayed the various boxes can be edited or moved, new connection lines can be added, and new boxes can be added or removed. A grid is available to make positioning of boxes easier. The grid is toggled with the grid button:
Editing a box or line
To edit a box or line position the cursor over the object. Click the right mouse button. A dialog box will appear displaying the options available in terms of altering the object.
Moving a box or line
To move a box or line position the cursor over the object. Hold down the left mouse button and while still holding the button down drag the object to the desired location and release the button.
Hiding a box or line
To hide a box or line position the cursor over the object. Click the right mouse button. A dialog box will appear displaying the options available in terms of altering the object. To hide the object choose the 'Hidden' flag in the 'Flags' tab.
Creating a new box
To create a new box position over a blank area of the screen. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor to create the desired shape. Release the button to create.
Creating a new line
To create a new line between two boxes, left mouse click on one of the boxes. The box will be highlighted and a central focus point is shown. Position the mouse over the central focus point of the box. Hold down the left mouse button and while still holding the button down move the cursor to the middle of the box you want to join to and release the button.
Note: This functionality of editing the printable diagrams only applies to the old style diagrams and not to the new diagrams.
