Installing Appropriate CRM YAB Recipe
With QAD Enterprise Edition 2016/2015 (cloud), QAD CRM back-end server components are installed using the YAB installer. YAB supports installing all server components on a single host. To distribute server components over several hosts, contact QAD Services.
Follow these steps to install CRM back-end components:
1 Download the CRM Business Logic (crm-server-release-x.x.x.x) zip file from the QAD store or from QAD Release Fulfillment.
2 Move the file to a file system that is accessible from the UNIX host where your Enterprise Edition environment is installed.
3 Change to the directory where Enterprise Edition is installed.
cd directory
4 Unset the environment variables. Enter:
unset DLC
unset PROMSGS
unset PROTERMCAP
5 Enter:
yab install [ZIP FILE]
Example:
yab install /dr01/crm-server-release-6.7.2.0.zip
6 CRM is installed.
