QAD CRM Documentation: Installation Guide: QAD CRM (78-0927-6.5.1), Administration Guide: QAD CRM (70-3095-6.5.1), and User Guide: QAD CRM (70-3192-6.5.1) have been updated for this release.
New and Changed Features
• This release of QAD CRM supports two types of clients: WebClient and QAD Remote Sales.
• The following image buttons have been replaced with text buttons in CRM windows throughout the application: Save, Undo, Add, Save & Add, Save & Close, Close.
• The Help button has been removed from all the CRM windows. Online help is now only accessible from the Help link on the toolbar.
• In My Settings|Preferences, the following settings have been removed from the General tab: Default program, Last Used Program, Enable PAF, and Configuration File Folder.
• When you shut down QAD CRM, the Remember Settings option is no longer available.
• The Associates shortcut menu has been removed from all activity views.
• In the Make a Note window, the History Notes pane has been moved to the History Notes tab.
• Under the Contact Notes tab in the Make a Note window, some fields have been removed and others rearranged.
• In the Find Profile/Contact window, the Profile History Text and Site Address search criteria have been removed from the left search condition pane.
• The Customer Console search logic has been changed: When you click Search without entering any search criteria, the system now prompts you to enter criteria instead of returning all the records in the database.
