Use Preventive Maintenance (PM) templates to produce work orders, based on a number of scheduling methods. A PM template addresses several methods including calendar frequency, equipment meter DUOM, special events, and a combination of calendar and equipment DUOM.

PM templates can specify the piece of equipment or serialized tool to work on. The PM module stores many different operations. Add, copy, and edit a PM template with one or more instructions or parts lists. Associate safety procedures and drawings with the PM template. When generating a PM work order from a template, all of the instructions, parts, tools, safety procedures, and attached files associated with the PM are copied to the work order issued.
