For QAD employees, attending an internal class, exercises are built around existing data within the QMI training environment database which is built through Surgient software tools.
When using this training guide within a QAD-sponsored training class, your QAD Warehousing instructor provides information on the environment and a student ID to access the environment.
If using this guide as a self-study course, you can contact the QAD IT department to request a student ID. To do this, enter a help desk ticket through QAD’s Changepoint program. Use a request type for the Demo Center. If you are with a partner, you can email the Product Center at:
To access the environment, use the following procedure:
1 Go to the following url:
2 Click the correct AP region on the regional map page.
Note: If the AP region does not connect, use either the Australia or US gateways.
3 Enter the Student ID, provided by your instructor or provided by QAD’s IT department.
4 Enter the password as qadtrain.
5 Enter the organization as classroom training.

Note: The system may display a message, informing you the certificate is expired. In most cases, QAD employees can click OK to bypass the message; then, select the continue to IE option. QAD customers can inform the QAD instructor should the expired certificate message display during training sessions. Note, too, that the instructor typically assigns a unique ID for every student so that IDs cannot be shared in a training session.
