Shortcut to Enabling and Executing the RF Software
If you are familiar with the Progress Editor, then you know that you can use the Editor as a means to enter commands directly.
To use the Progress Editor as a shortcut to starting the RF software, use the following procedure:
1 From the .NET UI interface, enter the left side Applications window, and type Progress Editor.
The system displays the Progress Editor choice before you finish typing.
2 Click on the Progress Editor to start it.
3 In the Progress Editor menu, type run mfwhex.p.
4 Select CTRL + X to enter the text.
The RF Login screen displays.
5 Log in to the RF as described in this section.
Note: You may need to press the Shift key when entering the User ID field.
You can set up another user in this method.
