QAD Warehousing uses Warehouse Location Maintenance in place of standard Location Maintenance to establish and define characteristics for the way a product is stored and picked.
If you set up a location in Warehouse Location Maintenance, the location displays in QAD EE Location Maintenance; however, if you set up in QAD EE Location Maintenance, the location does not show up in Warehouse Location Maintenance.
The final space segregation is QAD Warehousing is location. Each zone has at least one location. Locations are used for tracking and reporting inventory positions within the warehouse.
Typically storage zones have many locations.
