Exercise 2: Creating Report COA for Different Shared Sets
In this exercise, you will create a financial chart of accounts where the shared sets of the source entity do not match the shared sets of the report cube.
1 Log in to entity 20FRA.
2 In COA Cross Reference View, note the following COA cross references. You will use these later in this exercise.

3 Switch back to entity 10USACO.
4 In Report Chart of Accounts Maintenance, create a new chart with the following details:

a In the Shared Sets and SAF Concepts frame, specify 22UK in the Defaults from Domain field.
b In the Shared Sets and SAF Concepts frame, specify the COA shared sets and SAF concepts as listed in the table. Do not specify a project shared set.

d In the Default Accounts frame, specify the default COA elements you created previously in Exercise 1:
GL account: 1994
Sub-account: FRWSA
Cost center: FRWC
CTA account: 1994
e Click Next.
f In the Add or Remove Entities frame, add entities 22UKCO, 21NLCO, and 20FRACO.
g Click Next.
h In the next frame, click Next to view the cross reference types required. Note that the COA cross reference from the French entity to the report cube uses the COA cross references you viewed in 20FRACO.
Note: For source shared sets QMS-GL-US, QMS-SubAccount, and QMS-CostCenter, the COA Cross Reference field displays “Not Needed” because the source and target shared sets are the same.
i Click Next to complete the setup.
