The first step in the shipping process is to create a pre-shipper/shipper. The system uses the pre-shipper/shipper to select and ship inventory. (QAD Enterprise Applications converts pre-shippers to shippers before shipping.) Use one of the following to create the pre-shipper/shipper:

The terms picklist and pre-shipper are synonymous. A pre-shipper describes which items and/or containers need to be picked for the shipment.
