On the menu, a distinct icon indicates the type of program:
• Maintenance programs
• Transactions and utilities
• Reports and inquiries
• Browses
Each type of program maintains a specific kind of data within the database.
The following pages illustrate the types of programs that you will encounter as you use the product during this course. However, you need to be aware of an additional distinction.
