Item Master Maintenance Menu
You will use Item Master Maintenance (1.4.1) to add the information for QMI’s medical ultrasound and its components. This function—at the top of the menu shown in the slide—is a series of linked frames labeled:
• Item Data
• Item Inventory Data
• Item Planning Data
• Item Cost Data
As highlighted in the menu, each of these frames can be accessed with its own separate menu selection. This is often useful for job separation. You can use system security to limit access to a particular function to only those authorized to add or maintain that specific data.
Note: In the exercise, you may find it more convenient to use one of the separate functions.
The menu also has separate functions for the same data at different sites. This training guide use only one site, 10-100. If additional sites are used, each item can have different data at each site.
