Using Routing Cost Roll-Up (14.13.13), QMI is ready to roll up the routing costs for item 01010 medical ultrasound at site 10-100. The rollup is for the current cost set, not the GL cost set. Notice all the check boxes that can be used to leave out some elements of cost for unique or special purposes. Care should be used when leaving out any element of cost.

You can roll up either current or GL costs. The default is to roll up current costs. Although you can roll up GL costs when they change, it is safer to roll up current costs and then copy them to the GL.

After rolling up the routing costs, it is a good idea to verify that the rollup was successful. This can be verified in Item-Site Cost Inquiry, shown next.
