There are additional, optional fields to capture more information on who has the item at the end user location and where it is. Ownership, Location and Status are reference only and appear on selected inquiries and reports. The New Serial field is used to change the serial number for an existing installed base item.

If you have set up classification codes, enter the code in the Classification field. These codes can help you find items quickly by letting you filter by common groups.
