Invoice sort codes are important for Call Activity Recording and Call Invoice Recording. They provide a high-level sorting tool for grouping service costs by items, labor, and expenses. Invoice sorts have four main applications in the system as shown in the figure.

Although you can define any number of invoice sorts, only six can be displayed in Call Invoice Recording. The three basic invoice sorts—labor, items, and expenses—cover most requirements. The particular names given to them are user defined.
