Understanding the relationship between invoice sort codes and service categories is critical to using service coverage functions.

The service category is what you specify when you record details in Call Activity Recording. You may have a large number of service categories. Since service coverage may be set up at a generic level using invoice sort codes, there has to be some way for the system to know how to apply the coverage to the details as they are recorded in CAR. This is provided by the service category/invoice sort relationship.
