Rounding Methods
The rounding method specifies how system-calculated amounts are rounded to the nearest tenth, hundredth, and so on. Different regulatory environments often require different rounding methods. In one country, amounts are rounded to the nearest tenth, but in another, to the nearest hundredth.
As part of a report’s definition, you can select a rounding method for each reporting unit code. The system provides three standard rounding methods. You can modify these or add to them with Rounding Method Create (26.2.1). See
Rounding Methods for more information.
