New and Changed Features
The CSS user interface is now more user-friendly and more flexible with styling options. Thus, web designers have more flexible ways to implement design changes to CSS web pages.
New Style Sheet Structure
• There are now no hard-coded styles for graphics, icons, or colors. There is also no cell-padding or cell-spacing as table layout options. Instead, cascading style sheets are available for flexible design use.
• Now you can use the cascading style sheets to customize the header/footer, horizontal drop-down menus, corners, and buttons.
• With the new cascading style sheets, you can position HTML elements anywhere on the screen.
Styles Rationalized
• Now there are more styles in the super UI layer.
• The new cascading style sheets have the HTML element <DIV> for more styling flexibility.
• Due to the improved style sheets, now the system can highlight fields that fail validation.
New System Registry
Previously, the general cascading style sheet file gen_webpro.css was hard-coded. Now for you to easily configure the general cascading style sheet file name, there is a new system registry stylesheet. The default value for the registry field is qad_style.css.
Enhanced Calendar
For all date fields, there is now a calendar. The UI of the calendar is also enhanced for better user experience.
Enhanced HTML E-mail Experience
Now by using Detail Master E-Mail Maintenance, administrators cannot only add custom e-mail events and content of the e-mail, but also add a header and footer for the e-mail.
Browser Support
The system now supports Internet Explorer 10. We also have certified QAD CSS for the latest versions of Chrome, Opera, and Safari.
