Working with CAC Data
The system retrieves production order component detail records when CAC is enabled. The system calculates CAC statuses when it returns data from your initial search for records and displays the production order component status of each production order retrieved. Results are shown in the Component Status column within the Sequence Grid; see Figure 4.2. They also display in the same-named column in the Production Order Maintenance Summary List and in the Components sub-tab in the workbenches; see Production Order Maintenance, Date Fields.
When a production order has a component or components tied to it with a Shortage or Projected Shortage status, then the Component Status field tied to the production order is colored red.
