Prepare Environment
Define the following environment variables before starting QDT:
• export DLC=<Progress_install_directory>
• export CATALINA_HOME=<Tomcat_install_directory>
• export JAVA_HOME=<Java_install_directory>
Note: QAD recommends defining these variables in a script that is configured to run automatically when a user logs in to the system.
For changes to JAVA_HOME, DLC, and CATALINA_HOME, you must also update the QDT and QDT Admin default system settings.
