Introduction
Successfully upgrading QDT and QAD Enterprise Edition to the latest Progress version requires installation of the latest Progress version. You then configure QDT and QAD Enterprise Edition to use the latest Progress version.

Note: When upgrading an older Progress version to Progress 11, proutil checks if 64-bit sequences are enabled for the database. If they are not, proutil enables them. If they are enabled, a message appears stating that the sequences are already enabled for 64-bit and the proutil command fails. You can ignore this message. QDT continues processing.
