Support for Multiple OpenEdge Versions
• The QAD BPM installer has been enhanced to support multiple OpenEdge versions. Now QAD BPM also supports OpenEdge 11.4, in addition to OpenEdge 11.3.2.
• Because the OEBPS database in OpenEdge 11.4 supports multiple languages, the Convert OEBPS Database to UTF-8 routine in the QAD BPM installer now runs only for OpenEdge 11.3.2, not for OpenEdge 11.4.
• The Progress Corticon Server has been upgraded to 5.4.1.
EOB Sample Processes
The following Easy On Boarding (EOB) processes are now included in QAD BPM as sample processes:
• Inspection
This process involves physical inspection and recording of quality order results, and depending on the Accepted/Rejected data, moving the items to the stocking location or letting them go through a return process.
• Receiving
This process involves receiving an item into inventory with the necessary inspection, approval, or return, after a single item transfer has completed.
• Supplier Performance
This process involves the various activities in evaluating the performance of a supplier and rating the supplier as per rating standards.
• Supplier Return
This process involves the various activities in returning an item to the supplier, comprising ASN return, non-ASN return, and warranty return.
These EOB processes operate on QAD Enterprise Edition only, and can be installed and deployed using standard QAD tools or processes.
