Overview
The Status Tracking for Shipments functionality provides the ability to track shipments by showing each step of the shipping process from shipper to invoice. The status and the date of the activities in the shipment process are visible in Shipper Detail Status Browse and Shipper Detail Status Report.
Proof of Delivery (POD) is used as the reference to track the shipment status. POD records the received items, the quantity, and the receipt date.
Note: POD-required orders cannot be shipped using Sales Order Shipments. Use the pre-shipper/shipper functionality to ship the POD-required orders.
