You can use fiscal control accounts to track the notas fiscais used in third-party inventory control transactions, and the system tracks inventory transactions based on tax usages. The control accounts record inventory movement transaction details such as the quantities and the taxes. Optionally, you can also track the unit price.
Using fiscal control, you indicate whether a particular tax usage causes the fiscal account balance to be increased or decreased.
Two types of inventory movements are monitored using fiscal control accounts:
Material on hand received from third parties
Company material in third-party hands
Fiscal control accounts track the return of goods to suppliers and goods returned from customers though Receipts - Unplanned (3.9) and Issues - Unplanned (3.7).
When the operations related to the tax usages are processed, the system updates the fiscal control balances to control the quantities by item with respect to fiscal document and balances.
It is recommended that you assign one fiscal control account per user, as required.
