Upgrading QXtend 1.8.7 to 1.8.8
To upgrade QXtend 1.8.7 to QXtend 1.8.8:
1 Download the QXtend 1.8.8 package from the QAD Store or from QAD Release Fulfillment.
2 Move the file to a file system that is accessible from the UNIX or Windows host where your Enterprise Edition environment is installed.
3 Change to the directory where Enterprise Edition is installed.
cd [directory]
4 Enter:
yab install [zip file]-install-update:false
For example:
yab install qxtend-bundled-1.8.8.8.zip -install-update:false
5 Reinstall the most recent YAB patch to upgrade the compatible YAB component for QXtend. This ensures that you have the latest version of the installation logic for QXtend.
Note: If YAB has not been upgraded, you can skip this step.
yab install yab-patch-VERSION.zip
6 Check the environment information and verify that the upated version is as expected.
Enter:
yab info
There will be (new) beside the upgraded packages. For example:

7 Execute a YAB update to install QXtend.
yab update
