Database Server Requirements
For QAD Standard Edition system requirements, refer to the Installation Guide: QAD Enterprise Applications – Standard Edition.
This version of the QAD .NET UI (2.9.6) is only for use with QAD Standard Edition 2013 and QAD Standard Edition 2012.
Note: In previous releases of the product, QAD Standard Edition was named MFG/PRO and QAD ERP. Any references to the MFG/PRO or QAD ERP database server refer to the QAD Standard Edition database sever.
Progress AdminServer and WebSpeed
The QAD .NET UI requires the Progress AppServer and Progress WebSpeed. If you are completing a multi-tier deployment and do not have WebSpeed installed on the Tomcat server, you can download and install the free WebSpeed Messenger. For more information, see
Install WebSpeed Messenger.
OpenEdge Requirements
This version of the QAD .NET UI requires Progess OpenEdge 10.2B.
Language Compatibility
QAD .NET UI is configured to support a defined set of languages and associated code pages based on the underlying requirements of the QAD Standard Edition database. The supported set has changed over time. See

If you are installing QAD .NET UI in a non-US English environment, verify that your database is using a currently supported code page as listed in
Supported Progress Code Pages.
