Setting Up E-mail Functionality
To send e-mails through PRECISION, adjust the settings in Highway. There are a number of steps in this process:
1 Create a mail server record to store information about the SMTP server that you want to connect to highway with.
2 Create an endpoint to use the mail server record.
3 Clear the cache in highway.
4 Configure mail settings in the precision.properties file.
5 Adjust system values related to e-mailing documents from the Documents task.
6 Send a message to test the e-mail functionality.
