Permit/Guarantee Check
The EXLI check is used to determine whether a permit or a guarantee is required to ship a product based on certain restrictions such as country of destination, customer, country of origin, or consignor. You can configure these determination rules at a product or a commodity level. A rule set at product level takes precedence over a rule at commodity level. Configure these rules based on the company requirements; Precision does not provide any content in this area.
Example: An organization ships 10 different products of the same commodity to France. Of these products, nine require a license. Instead of setting up individual rules for each product, you can set up one rule at commodity level for the 10 products and then one product-level rule for the exception.
