Profit / Loss on Shipping
When you do large volumes of shipping, typically you will have negotiated rates with each carrier. The difference between these rates and the rates you charge your customers is a source of profit, or loss.
This dashboard shows profit and loss, by carrier, by month, with a drill-down to the profit and loss for each type of service. In this case, you can clearly see you are not recovering the cost for overnight shipments.
You may use this information to change your shipping practices or negotiate better rates with your carriers. You may also use this cost information to adjust what you charge.
