Determining Check Digits For Tracking Numbers
If carriers require a check digit calculation for their tracking number, PRECISION has a set of built-in check digit algorithms for particular carriers. The Global Carrier Code determines the check digit algorithm to use. If a carrier does not have a check digit requirement, set up the usual system values for tracking number ranges and formats.
