This two-day course for QAD employee, customer and partner technical staff will cover the main components and communication channels of QAD's .NET UI environment with corresponding administrative utilities. Students will have an opportunity to practice various administrative actions, including a complete .NET UI environment rebuild.
Configuration files and scripts as well as logging and troubleshooting tips will be discussed. Technical aspects of various functional features, like browses, will be also be covered with focus on performance and relations to underlying character environment and Progress processes.

Complete QAD Enterprise Applications and Progress administration training, Familiar with Linux/UNIX and command line navigation, System Maintenance (adding menu items and custom programs), Start/stop Progress AdminServer, NameServer, AppServer and WebSpeed brokers, Basic Progress DBA skills (probkup, prorest, dump and load), Basic XML editing, Tomcat and Java understanding.
