Installing QAD BI Mobile App on the iPad
Requirements
Apple iPad
QAD BI Portal installed and configured, and Tomcat running
User IDs created and passwords set up using the BI portal for all users who install and use the app on their iPads
Installation and Configuration
Follow these steps to download the QAD Mobile BI app:
1 On your iPad, go to the Apple App Store.
2 In the search window, search for QAD Mobile.
3 Choose and install the QAD Mobile BI app.
4 Connect to your office network via VPN.
5 Double-click the QAD BI icon. When you launch the BI Mobile App for the first time, it prompts you for the following information:
User. Enter the user id that you use to access BI portal.
Password. Enter the password that you use to access BI portal.
Server URL. The same URL that you use to access BI portal in the form of http://<biportalhostname>:<tomcatportnumber>/<webappname>/. For example: http://company:8080/qadbi/.
If you would like to save these credentials for future use, tap on the Save Password On/Off button and turn it on.
6 Click the check mark. You can now log in to BI from your iPad.
