Upgrade Steps for QAD BI Data Warehouse Designer
1 Install the new QAD BI Data Warehouse Designer, version 6.6.2, by running the QAD_66200.msi installer application.
2 Run the new version 6.6.2 Setup Administrator. Choose Metadata Repository -> Validate Metadata Repository.
3 Select the ODBC DSN of the DWD you want to upgrade and click OK.
4 Verify that the screen says “Version is 6.5. Current version is 6.6.” When the system prompts you to validate all Meta Tables, click OK.
5 A dialog box says “Do you wish to upgrade?” Click OK.
6 A list of update commands is displayed. Click OK. At the “Define FileGroups” dialog, click OK.
7 Launch the new version 6.6.2 BI Data Warehouse Designer and verify that you can connect to your upgraded Data Warehouse.
