Installed Item Move
Installed Item Move (11.3.13) is used to update the location of installed base items from one end user to another. Normally, if the item being moved has a component structure in the installed base, all the items are moved with it. However, it is possible to move individual components of a configured item to a new site if needed.
Note: An item cannot be moved if it (or any of its components, if it has a configuration beneath it) is currently associated with a call, contract, or RMA. These functions depend on installed base information that would be rendered invalid if the item was moved. Calls needs to be closed and moved to history. Contracts need to have end dates changed.
Note: An item can be moved from one end user to another as part of Call Maintenance, as well as in Installed Item Maintenance (11.3.13).
