Work Code Maintenance
This figure illustrates the frame for defining work codes. In addition to the fixed price field, which affects Call Activity Recording, work codes have these other applications in the system.
• Work code can be used in setting up coverage limits.
• Work code may be used as one of the keys in setting up call defaults.
• Work code may be used in setting up call escalations.
• Work code can be used in setting up pricing structures.
• Work code is one of the factors considered in site management for returned items.
• Work code is one of the factors considered in determining GL accounts for service costs and revenue.
• Work codes are used by the system in Call Activity Recording and Call Invoice Recording to determine the coverage in effect and determine the charge code to be used.
