When you finish the item detail frame, the records associated with the BOM and Routing are loaded into the item usage frame for the first operation on the routing that does not already have items. If you do not want this to happen, you should clear this field before continuing.

Once the BOM and Routing associated with the line item have been generated, the field becomes display only and cannot be changed.
