The exchange UM defines the unit of measure to be used in Service Price List Maintenance when setting up repair price lists for exchanges in Call Activity Recording.

When a return status with Exchange set to Yes is used in Call Activity Recording for a non-covered item, the system searches the call price list for a price with this UM. When it finds it, the associated price is assumed to be the exchange (or credit) price.
