Multi-language Support for Functional Group Name
In Functional Group Maintenance, you now can enter the Functional Group name in any of the QAD-supported languages. You can also maintain the Functional Group name in multiple languages by using the String Translation button.
Multi-language Support for Variable Options
In Variable Maintenance, you now can specify option questions and option answers in any of the QAD-supported languages. You can also maintain the questions and answers in multiple languages by using the String Translation button.
To display the question of each variable in each language, you can use Variable Language Browse. To display the answers of each variable option in each language, you can use Variable Option Language Browse.
Multi-language Support for Feature Options
In Feature Maintenance, you now can specify option questions and option answers in any of the QAD supported languages. You can also maintain the questions and answers in multiple languages by using the String Translation button.
You can copy the translation records from an existing configurable item to a new configurable item.
To display the feature questions that you have set up for each language, use Feature Language Browse. To display the feature option answers that you have set up for each language, use Feature Option Language Browse.
If you do not set up the translations in Feature Maintenance, the questionnaire displays the translated records that you have set up in Variable Maintenance.
Multi-language Support for User Messages
Now you can enter user messages and message box titles in any of the QAD-supported languages.
Questionnaire Display in Desired Language
When you have set up multiple language records for functional group names, option questions, option answers, and user messages, the questionnaire now shows in the language of the questionnaire respondent.
For Configurator 5.4 or 5.4.1 users who used option comments for multi-language questionnaire purposes, you can now get the desired questionnaire without using the comments. QAD also provides a tool to convert your previous multi-language comments into translation records.
Translation Records During Model Import/Export
During Model Import/Export, the data packages now include translation records for functional group names, option questions and answers, and user messages.

There are some performance improvements to the Analyzer.
