The Quantity grid is displayed when the account specified in the posting is defined with a quantity value and unit of measure. The quantity value is the number of units specified. The unit of measure is the type of unit, which you can define as inches, pounds, work hours, days, or any item for which you want to include details in the transaction. See GL Account Unit of Measure.
